JURNAL REFLEKTIF SEBAGAI JEMBATAN GAP DUNIA PENDIDIKAN DAN PRAKTIK KLINIS KEPERAWATAN

Pendahuluan: Adanya gap antara dunia akademik dan praktik klinis keperawatan menjadi tantangan bagi dunia keperawatan untuk meningkatkan kualitas dan profesionalitas di dunia kerja. Oleh sebab itu, perlu suatu strategi untuk menjembatani gap dunia akademis dan klinis khususnya keperawatan.
Metode: Studi ini menggunakan metode simple narrative literature review. Pencarian artikel melalui online database ScieneDirect, Proquest, dan Google scholar. Keta kunci yang digunakan meliputi: reflective practice, journal reflective, reflective writing, AND nursing. Artikel yang digunakan dalam bahasa Inggris dengan tidak ada batas tahun terbit.
Hasil: Hasil studi menunjuukkan ketidaksesuaian praktik dengan standar dan kebaruan yang dipelajari di akademis, rancangan system pendidikan yang kurang relevan dengan kondisi di lapangan, serta supervisi dan perceptorship yang tidak sejalan. Jurnal reflektif memberikan berbagai manfaat meningkatkan perkembangan personal dan profesional baik mahasiswa maupun klinisi, meningkatkan kemampuan berfikir kritis, mensintesis dan menganalisis, meningkatkan kemampuan pengambilan keputusan dan penyelesaian masalah. Jurnal reflektif dapat dilakukan sebelum, saat, atau setelah pengalaman praktik.
Kesimpulan: Dunia akademik dan praktik keperawatan sering menemukan berbagai gap yang dapat mengganggu kualitas dan profesionalitas dalam bekerja. Jurnal reflektif menjadi salah satu strategi untuk menjembatani gap antara dunia akademik dan praktik tersebut, sehingga keselarasan antara akademis dan praktis diharapkan dapat tercapai.
